Anyone got caught out this morning? Not me, up with the larks... well maybe not quite the larks, but the early bird catches the worm and all that...
Back to me, I like this season a lot, an extra hour in bed and some lovely natural hues out there now the leaves have started to fall. The dog's not quite so keen though, and tried several times to walk on the road on her Sunday walk earlier rather than crunch through the canal path.
Anyways, back to the subject of this blog, which is light. Now, we all have to get used to the limited light this time of year brings. The nights are set to get longer and longer, which is why I believe borrowing the best of nature's tricks will ensure you feel snug and cosy through these darker winter months.
Try using gold, yellow, orange and rich red or warm brown as accent colours against colder colours like navy, grey, white and black. Not only will they make a space feel warmer, they add a touch of vibrancy and bring the 'outside in'.
